Lab officials’ services lauded

LAHORE:The laboratory officials are real heroes, their services are the backbone of the health system, who play a very important role in the background and laboratory tests are of fundamental importance in the diagnosis of diseases and treatment of patients.

These views were expressed by Lahore General Hospital MS Prof Dr Faryad Hussain while addressing an event in connection with Medical Laboratory Professionals Week 2025 organised by the Department of Pathology at the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Ameeruddin Medical College and LGH. Dr Faryad Hussain said that AMC Principal Prof Dr Muhammad Al-Fareed Zafar played an important role in establishing the Central Research Lab on modern lines. Prof Dr Nisar Ahmed, Prof Dr Nazish Saqlain and Prof Dr Farhan Rasheed also spoke at the event. At the end of the ceremony, a cake was cut in honour of the medical lab officials in which all the participants participated.
