Rain turns weather pleasant

LAHORE:Light rain was witnessed in various City areas on Sunday night. As soon as the rain started, the humid weather turned pleasant. Scattered rain was witnessed at Pani Wala Talab, Johar Town, Township, Mughalpura, Walled City, Mozang, Garhi Shahu and etc

Earlier, partly cloudy and mild hot weather was witnessed in the City here on Sunday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions with chances of scattered rain for the next 24 hours.

Met officials said that maximum temperature in the City was 28°C and minimum was 22°C. They said there was chance of scattered rain during the next two days across the City while windstorm may also occur in various cities of the country.

Meanwhile, the average AQI in the City was 80 while the PM2.5 concentration was 4.9 times the World Health Organisation annual PM2.5 guideline value.
