UHE wins declamation contests

LAHORE: The University of Home Economics (UHE) has secured the top position in the regional round of the All-Pakistan Declamation Contests, organised by the HEC of Pakistan. Held at Punjab University, students from the University of Home Economics claimed first place in the HEC Urdu Speech Competitions, earning their institution the prestigious team trophy and a cash prize of Rs100,000.
The winning speeches were delivered by Tanzeel ul-Noor from the Dept of Interior Design, Areeba Amjad from the Dept of Food and Nutrition Sciences, and Rameen Tariq from the Dept of English, showcasing outstanding talent in Urdu speech.
