Pakistan’s Hameed downs Israeli opponent in ITF C’ship

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’’s veteran tennis player Hameed-ul-Haq secured a commendable victory against an Israeli opponent in the ITF 400 Seniors event in the 60+ category final, held in Pattaya, Thailand.
Hameed beat Zeev Livne of Israel with a score of 6-4, 3-6, 10-2 and won the championship, said a press release. The President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, and the Secretary General, Col.
(R) Zia-ud-Din Tufail, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Hameed-ul-Haq on this significant achievement. They praised his performance, stating that his victory is a proud moment for Pakistan and an inspiration for senior athletes across the country.
