Pakistan ladies team triumphs at Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan ladies golfers made the country proud by winning the 38th Bangladesh Amateur Golf Championship team and individual titles in Dhaka, Saturday.
Pakistan ladies’ team comprising Aania Farooq Syed and Parkha Ijaz left the Bangladesh A team behind to win the team title. The two Pakistani ladies produced outstanding golf to leave other teams behind.
Aania Farooq Syed was also outstanding in the individual category, which she won, leaving her countrywoman Parkha Ijaz in the second spot.
In the men’s section, Pakistan’s Nauman Ilyas finished second in the men’s individual category.
This victory by the Pakistan women’s team is a testament to the hard work, talent, and dedication.
