Daraz Pakistan, Unity Retail join forces to simplify delivery for businesses
KARACHI: Daraz Pakistan has entered into a strategic partnership with Unity Retail to simplify and digitise logistics operations for major brands across the country, a statement said on Friday.
This collaboration marks a significant step in Daraz’s evolution as the company begins offering logistics as a service to businesses outside its core marketplace for the first time.
Through this partnership, Daraz and Unity Retail aim to streamline the entire delivery process by integrating courier services with modern software systems. The solution will be available in the top 80 cities of Pakistan and will manage every stage of delivery -- from initial pickup to transportation and final drop-off. It will also offer services such as cash-on-delivery, returns management, and faster delivery options powered by advanced systems developed by Daraz over the years.
Businesses using the service will benefit from improved operational efficiency and greater visibility into their logistics operations. “By opening up our logistics network to other brands, we are making it easier for businesses to grow and serve their customers more effectively,” said Chief Operating Officer of Daraz Pakistan Ahmed Tanveer. “This partnership with Unity Retail allows us to bring the technology, infrastructure, and expertise we have developed over the years to the wider retail ecosystem.”
“The success of e-commerce hinges on one key factor: timely and reliable delivery. It is not just the last step in the journey, it is often the only physical touchpoint between a brand and its customer. At Unity Retail, we believe delivery is a core part of the customer experience, and our mission is to help brands deliver on their promises, literally. This partnership with Daraz is not just about logistics, it is about unlocking e-commerce’s true potential across Pakistan. Together, we’re making reliable delivery more accessible than ever, accelerating digital commerce adoption nationwide,” said Mohammed Atif Sami, founder and CEO of Unity Retail.
