Rawalpindi: The City Traffic Police Rawalpindi on Thursday invited teachers and students of a private school on eve of an Open Day at its headquarters.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO), Beenish Fatema invited over 100 teachers and students of Beacon House School System on their arrival at City Traffic Police headquarters. Speaking on the occasion, the CTO said the ceremony for students was organized as a part of awareness campaign regarding traffic rules and seeking cooperation from citizens for smooth flow of traffic in Rawalpindi city.
“Young generation is like our ambassadors and they can convey our message to public in much better and effective way,” Beenish Fatema said. She said that with use of latest technology and due to better strategy coupled strict implementation of traffic laws, the congestion points have been reduced for smooth flow of vehicles in the city.
The students and teachers also visited different branches of traffic police and also participated in live transmissions FM-88.6, the official channel of Rawalpindi Traffic Police.
