Chronically late

This refers to the letter ‘Late express’ (April 22, 2025) by Qamer Soomro. The letter reminded me of a joke about a Japanese tourist visiting Pakistan. He was told that trains in Pakistan never arrive on time. He went to a railway station in Karachi to check for himself and saw the Sukkur Express entering the station on time. He then asked why people claimed that the trains were always late and was informed that the train that he just saw was supposed to arrive at this hour the day before.
