Four juniors to compete in Faldo Series
ISLAMABAD: Four talented junior golfers will compete in the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final 2025, being held in Vietnam.
The team announced by the Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) includes Saad Habib Malik (Boys Under-21), Azaan Usman (Boys Under-16), Bushra Fatima (Girls Under-21), Aleesa Almas Rashid (Girls Under-16).
The team was selected through national trials conducted at Rumanza Golf & Country Club in Multan. Initially, Sara Amin Khan had earned a spot in the Girls Under-16 category but opted to participate in the Royal Junior Japan Championship. Her position was filled by Aleesa Almas Rashid, who was the runner-up in the trials. The championship round (54 holes) will get underway today (Wednesday).
PGF President Lt. Gen. Qazi Ikram extended his warm wishes to the young golfers, expressing confidence in their abilities to make the country proud on the international stage. He emphasized the PGF’s commitment to nurturing junior talent and supporting international exposure for the next generation of golfers. The Faldo Series is renowned for shaping the careers of future golf stars and participation in this event reflects the rising standard of junior golf in Pakistan.
