As a university student, I rely on public buses for daily travel from North Karachi to University Road. Unfortunately, the condition of these buses and the reckless behaviour of their drivers make this journey unsafe and stressful. Bus drivers often drive carelessly, putting the lives of passengers and other road users at risk. Overcrowded buses and lack of proper maintenance further add to the problem.
Despite numerous accidents and complaints, no significant measures have been taken to address this issue. I urge the government to take strict action against reckless drivers and ensure the implementation of traffic laws. Introducing safer transportation services on this route, especially for students, would greatly benefit the people.
