ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb has appointed Omar M Khan as an advisor on debt management in the Finance Division on an immediate basis and he will work on a pro bono basis.
According to a notification, issued by the Finance Division on Friday, Omer M Khan has been appointed as an advisor on debt management in the Finance Division in terms of Establishment Division’s O.M No. 1/11/2018 (ii)-E-6 and until further orders.
Omar possesses over 25 years of extensive banking experience across private sector lending, strategic and economic analysis as well as operational delivery and support towards delivering rapid and sustainable growth. He has been well versed in the areas of strategic and economic assessment, strategies formulation, business planning, stakeholder management, government liaison as well as regulatory compliance coupled with good understanding of global markets, strategic management and cross-border lending. He’s recognised as a practical and hands-on leader with in-depth knowhow of emerging markets.
