19 arms shops sealed in Bajaur
KHAR: The officials of the district administration on Friday conducted a targeted operation against illegal arms trading in the Shingas Market in the district headquarters of Bajaur district.
The action was carried out under the directives of the Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur Shahid Ali Khan in accordance with the orders of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
During the operation, the officials led by Assistant Commissioner of Khar, Dr Sadiq Ali sealed a total of 19 arms shops operating without proper registration and licenses. Legal proceedings have also been initiated against the shopkeepers involved in violations.
The district administration has made it clear that violations of arms regulations will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and strict legal action will be taken against those found guilty.
