Zardari gave briefings on the bulk water transmission system, while Ansari presented updates on the bulk pumping stations, filtration plants and water reservoirs. Siddiqui issued strict directives to the departments concerned, instructing them to take immediate steps to desilt the Keenjhar-Gujjo Canal.

He stressed that uninterrupted water supply from all bulk pumping stations to the city must be ensured, and that all available resources should be utilised to guarantee this. He further directed that fair and equitable water distribution within the KWSC system must be prioritised, as providing improved services to the residents is among the corporation’s top priorities.

Meanwhile, Mughal briefed the delegation, saying that 60 per cent of the project has been completed, and efforts are under way to finish the remaining work as soon as possible. According to a spokesperson for the KWSC, these high-level visits were conducted to further improve the city’s water supply system through on-ground inspections and coordination.
