Cop transferred 24 hours after posting

PESHAWAR: Another police officer posted in the capital city police was removed within 24 hours. A superintendent of police in Dera Ismail Khan, Tayyab Jan, was posted SP City in Peshawar on Thursday while Khalid Khan services were placed at the disposal of the capital city police the same day.
On Friday, the Central Police Office cancelled the notification of the posting of Tayyab Jan. He was transferred to Police Training College in Hangu and Khalid Khan will continue serving as SP City.
Before that Wajid Shah was posted as DSP Yakkatoot in the City Division of Peshawar but his order was cancelled within 24 hours after the top police officials were approached against the cop for being an investigation officer in the May 9 violence cases.
