US consul gen calls on Multan commissioner

MULTAN: US Consul General Kristen Hawkins on Tuesday visited Multan and met Commissioner Multan Division Amir Karim Khan. They discussed development projects and matters of mutual interest. Amir said the Punjab government is taking practical steps to promote the culture and civilization of the city of saints and tourism. The upgradation of Qila Kuhna and its surroundings is being done with Rs2.5 billion. The establishment of a food street will provide positive entertainment opportunities. Modern traffic signals have been installed in the city, and roads are being widened.
