Parents of the injured children were notified, and hospital officials confirmed that all victims are in stable condition.
Man arrested in addict’s murder case
Police have arrested a suspect accused of stabbing a man to death in a drug-related dispute. The incident occurred a day earlier in Qila Gujjar Singh, where the suspect, identified as Muhammad Ali alias Lala, along with accomplices, allegedly attacked a man named Hasnain with knives, killing him on the spot. A case was registered at Qila Gujjar Singh police station, but the suspect initially fled the scene. However, Misri Shah police tracked him down within 24 hours and took him into custody.
“The accused has been arrested, and the murder weapon has also been recovered from his possession,” said City SP Bilal Ahmed. He praised the SHO Misri Shah and his team for their swift action. The suspect has been handed over to the investigation team for further interrogation. Authorities stated that the killing stemmed from a dispute among drug users. SP Ahmed emphasised that police are intensifying efforts to arrest criminals involved in serious crimes across the city.
