Nasir moves into Rochester ProAm quarters

ARACHI: Pakistan’s Nasir Iqbal moved into the quarterfinals of the $9000 Rochester ProAm Squash event in the United States on Friday.
After getting bye in the first round, top seed Nasir defeated Germany’s Jan Wipperfurth 12-10, 11-4, 11-5 in 28 minutes in the second round. Now, he is up against sixth seed Gabriel Olufunmilayo from Nigeria in the quarters. However, Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz and eight seed Tayyab Aslam lost in the first and second rounds, respectively.
