Ramazan packages to be distributed
MANSEHRA: The Chinese company executing the Dasu Hydropower Project in Upper Kohistan on Saturday provided packets of essential items to the district administration for distribution among the orphans, widows and deserving families ahead of Eidul Fitr.
“We have received Ramazan packages from the Chinese company, and will soon distribute them among orphans, widows, and deserving families across the district,” Tariq Ali Khan, the Deputy Commissioner of Upper Kohistan, told reporters.
The China Gezhouba Group Company (CGGC) handed over the consignments in a ceremony held in Dasu, the district headquarters of Upper Kohistan.
“Our administration is grateful to the Chinese company for providing essential goods to deserving families in our district during the holy month of Ramazan, continuing their relief efforts from previous years,” Khan said.
He assured the public that the packages would reach the most deserving families throughout the district.
