Financial dispute resolved

LAHORE:Lahore police resolved a long-standing financial dispute of the family of Shaheed Constable Mukhtar Ahmed, ensuring the return of their hard-earned money.
According to a police spokesperson, Amjad Mukhtar, the son of the late constable, had paid an agent Rs470,000 for his mother and sister’s Umrah pilgrimage two years ago. However, the agent neither arranged the pilgrimage nor refunded the amount.
Upon receiving the complaint, SP Iqbal Town Bilal Ahmed directed the Wahdat Colony police to take action. The police intervened and recovered the full amount from the agent. Following the recovery, Amjad Mukhtar expressed gratitude to the police for their efforts in securing justice for his family.
