‘CPSP degree among seven top degrees of world’
LAHORE
The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) is the main institution of the country for higher medical education providing more than 90 per cent specialist doctors and more than 18,000 trainee doctors.
“The degree of CPSP is one of seven top degrees of the world and the institution has become the symbol of national integrity in the outer world without any government help,” said Prof. Zafar Ullah Chaudhry, President CPSP, along with Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, Senior Vice President, Prof. Mahmood Ayyaz, Director National Residency Program, Prof. Aamir Zaman Khan and Prof. Muhammad Tayyab while speaking at a press conference held here at CPSP Regional Centre, Lahore, on Saturday.
They said that CPSP conducts examinations and training courses at 14 Regional Centers within the country and also at International centers in Saudi Arabia and Nepal.
They informed that CPSP was declared the best institution of the world in Science, Technology and Medical Education and also awarded Socrates award 2015 in London. The under trainee doctors of CPSP in Ireland and England and rest of the world are earning good name for the country on the basis of their good performance.
