PTI ex-MNA granted bail

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Wednesday granted protective bail to former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member National Assembly Tahir Sadiq and restrained law enforcement agencies from arresting him until March 6.
The PHC issued a two-page written order regarding the matter, according to which, the petitioner was currently in the United States and was coming back to Pakistan via Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar.The petitioner’s lawyer argued that politically motivated and false cases had been filed against his client with an aim to harass him.The court granted protective bail to the petitioner and directed KP and Punjab Police and all law enforcing agencies not to arrest him.
