IAP-KC to unveil IAPEX 2025 logo today
KARACHI: The Institute of Architects Pakistan -- Karachi Chapter (IAP-KC) is gearing up for the 20th edition of IAPEX, the country’s premier building materials exhibition and conference, set to take place from May 2-4, 2025, at the Expo Centre, Karachi.
Ahead of the exhibition, IAP-KC will reveal the official logo for IAPEX 2025 on Sunday, February 23, at 7pm across social media platforms. The logo is designed to reflect a deep architectural philosophy, merging past and future influences. Featuring bilingual typography, it integrates the Urdu word ‘Kal’, which signifies both ‘yesterday’ and ‘tomorrow’, symbolising a bridge between heritage and innovation. A stylised Karachi skyline underscores the city’s evolving urban landscape, while the base of the design highlights concerns over depleting underground water resources. The interplay of dark grey tones with a vibrant kaleidoscope pattern represents both the challenges and dynamism of contemporary architecture. The annual event will spotlight advancements in construction, sustainability and design, offering the public free access to cutting-edge industry developments.
