Police looking for stick used in Mustafa Amir murder case
The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) has claimed to have obtained further important evidence during the interrogation of Armaghan, the prime suspect in the Mustafa Amir kidnapping and murder case.
According to the investigators, Armaghan has provided additional details that can strengthen the case. Police are now working on verifying these claims, and gathering forensic evidence to establish a concrete link between Armaghan and Amir’s murder.
Authorities believe that these new findings would play a crucial role in proving the circumstances of the crime, and bringing those responsible to justice. Police officers investigating the case are searching for the weapon used in the murder.
According to police, if they can locate the weapon used in the crime, and conduct a forensic analysis, it can provide crucial evidence. If forensic reports confirm that the weapon was used in the murder, and Armaghan’s fingerprints are found on it, it will help solve the case.
Investigating officer Muhammad Ali told The News that during interrogation Armaghan revealed how he used the weapon (a stick) to attack Amir, and where he later disposed of it. The IO said police are now going to the location mentioned by Armaghan to recover the stick used in the crime. Once recovered, it will further strengthen the case.
Regarding the traces of human blood found at Armaghan’s house, the officer said Armaghan told the police during the interrogation that the blood belonged to a girl named Angelina. Armaghan claimed that he had a fight with her, which led to physical violence and caused her to bleed. The blood traces found at his house are reportedly from that incident.
Angelina is the same girl who allegedly caused the dispute between Armaghan and Amir. Previously, another girl named Marsha was believed to be the reason behind the conflict. The IO explained that police are looking for Angelina, who has gone missing since her name started being highlighted in the media.
Replying to another query, the officer said Armaghan has claimed that he does not know whether Amir was dead or alive at the time his car was set on fire. Armaghan also claimed that he did not see Amir when the car was burned.
