PESHAWAR: Advisor to Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Wednesday accused Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz of replicating welfare projects launched by PTI founder Imran Khan.
“Imran Khan is mentioned in her speeches every day, which shows that she is afraid of his political narrative and popularity,” said the adviser as per a handout while responding to the criticism made by the Punjab chief minister.
The adviser said Imran Khan was the true leader of the masses, while Maryam Nawaz was known as the leader of Form 47.Saif believed that Pakistan Muslim League N chief Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz were unhappy even though their party assumed power after the February 8, 2024 general election while Imran Khan was not worried even being in jail. “Imran Khan is a hero to the people, while those in power are proving to be ineffective,” said the aide to the chief minister.Saif advised Maryam Nawaz to focus on the people instead of criticizing Imran Khan, as masses were suffering from inflation, unemployment, and the worst debt in the country’s history.
