Extortionists attack girls school

LAHORE:A private girls school in Islampura was attacked when its owner refused to pay Rs5million to unidentified extortionists. The suspects riding motorcycles opened fire at the school. The police registered a case.

Three ‘robbers’ held

Nasirabad police Wednesday arrested three members of a robber gang. The police arrested accused Faisal, Adnan, and Ramazan, near the railway lines behind Model Town courts and recovered weapons and two stolen motorcycles from them.

Three bodies found

Three unidentified bodies were recovered from different areas of the city on Wednesday. According to the Edhi spokesperson, body of a 55-year-old man was found near Dhyan Singh Mandir in the Lorry Adda area. The body of a 30-year-old man was also recovered from Sabzazar. Meanwhile, body of a 35-year-old woman was recovered in the South Cantt area. The woman appeared to be a drug addict.

TikToker arrested

Mayo Hospital police Wednesday arrested a fugitive, who was wanted by police for harassing citizens on TikTok. Asif Hayat was booked by Data Darbar police two years ago on charges of harassing a man and his son. The police apprehended the accused with the assistance of modern technology.
