This initiative, spearheaded by the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialisation (ORIC), aims to foster research excellence, promote innovation, and address key societal challenges.
The newly established working groups, formed for a one-year term, will be led by distinguished faculty members with proven leadership and expertise:
Dr. Noor Fatima, Associate Professor of Politics and International Relations, will lead the Working Group on SDGs for Research and Innovation. Dr. Munazza Yaqoob, Associate Professor of English, will chair the Working Group on Social Sciences and Humanities Research.
Dr. Bashir Ahmad, Associate Professor of Biotechnology, will head the Working Group on Industrial Linkage and Commercialisation.
These groups will function under the supervision of ORIC, aligning with IIU’s mission to enhance research collaborations, secure funding opportunities, and address both national and global priorities. Their efforts are expected to contribute significantly to industrial partnerships, interdisciplinary research, and sustainable development.
