Six ‘hitmen’ among 10 suspects arrested by Rangers

The paramilitary force has arrested 10 suspected
criminals, including four target killers belonging to a political party and another two of a militant wing, during raids in the city, the spokesman for the Sindh Rangers said on Wednesday.
The raids were conducted in Ranchore Line, Kharadar and Baldia Town.
Of the eight suspects caught, four were hitmen of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, the spokesman said, adding that three others were extortionists and one was a weapons handler of a militant wing.
A large haul of weapons and ammunition, including a UBRL, a small machinegun, four bore pistols, 2,070 Rounds and 24 Fitrana books were seized during the swoops.
In a raid in Orangi Town, two suspected target killers belonging to a banned militant organisation were arrested with weapons. The paramilitary force did not release the identities of any of the suspects.
