Proclaimed offender killed in Kohat encounter

PESHAWAR: A proclaimed offender, who was wanted by the police for a number of cases, was gunned down during an encounter in Jangalkhel area of Kohat district on Sunday, officials said.
District Police Officer, Kohat, Dr Zahidullah told reporters that police conducted a raid in Jangalkhhel after reports about the presence of proclaimed offender Adil.He said the accused opened fire on the cops, who also retaliated, killing him.
The slain was wanted by the police for attacks, robberies and other crimes in police uniformThe official said the SHO Jangalkhel had received information about the presence of the accused.
