MULTAN: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Multan has arrested a man implicated in human trafficking. This action was taken following directives from Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who directed all FIA zones to intensify efforts against those involved in human trafficking, FIA officials said on Friday.
Muhammad Hassan Sheraz, son of Muhammad Ayub Raza, a resident of Sooraj Miyani, Taaj Pur Sandeela, Multan, was arrested under the Emigration Ordinance of 1979. The accused, in collaboration with the co-accused, extorted Rs 500,000 from a complainant for sending him to Malaysia on an employment visa.
