Court extends interim bail of Imran, Bushra Bibi

ISLAMABAD: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka extended the interim bail of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi in one case.

During the hearing on the pre-arrest bail applications, lawyers Ansar Kayani and Shamsa Kayani appeared in the court on behalf of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi and took the position that Bushra Bibi has been arrested after being sentenced in a 190 million pound case, and should be exempted from appearance. Lawyer Ansar Kayani said that Bushra Bibi is imprisoned in Adiala Jail and her presence should be made through video link. To this, Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka said that he is busy in cases registered under Peca, so nothing will happen now. The application for exemption from appearance is approved. The court extended the interim bail of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi and adjourned the hearing till February 11.
