PAC honours violinist
Rawalpindi:Punjab Arts Council (PAC) organised grand event titled ‘Itiraf-e-fun’ Here on Wednesday to honor internationally renowned violinist Ustad Raees Ahmed Khan. The purpose of the event was to pay tribute to Ustad Raees Ahmed Khan for his over 40 years of contributions to the field of music. The special guest of the ceremony was Chairman Senate Advisor Yahya Hussain Shah. Dr. Fauzia Saeed, Professor Shahbaz Ali, Hasan Abbas Raza, Khalid Siddiqui, and Dr. Seema spoke about Ustad Raees Ahmed Khan's personality and artistic achievements on this occasion.
The speakers highlighted that Ustad Raees Ahmed Khan rendered exceptional services in the field of music and was honoured with prestigious national awards such as the Presidential Award for Pride of Performance, Sitara-i-Imtiaz, and Hilal-i-Imtiaz, which recognise his extraordinary talent.
