LAHORE:Punjab police department has allocated Rs2.7 million for the treatment of children suffering from severe illnesses in various districts.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Constable Abdul Rehman from Lahore was granted Rs1.96 million for the treatment of his one-and-a-half-year-old daughter’s hearing issues. Lady Sub-Inspector Mahnoor, Head Constable M Babar, and Constable Shahid Hussain were each given Rs250,000 for the treatment of their children. ASI M Sawar Khan from Mianwali received Rs200,000 for the treatment of his one-and-a-half-year-old son. Constable Yawar Hussain from Sahiwal was allocated Rs100,000 for the cardiac treatment of his two-year-old daughter. Driver Constable Parvez Akhtar from Lahore received Rs75,000 for his daughter’s medical care. Additionally, Driver Head Constable Ihsan Ullah and Constable M Bilal were jointly granted Rs130,000 for the treatment of their sons.
