SBP to announce monetary policy decision on January 27

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will unveil its next monetary policy decision on Monday, January 27, 2025, following a meeting of its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC).
The MPC will convene to deliberate on the economic outlook and determine the policy rate, the central bank said in a statement on Monday. SBP Governor Jameel Ahmad is set to announce the committee’s decision at a press conference later the same day.
