Australia to play two ODIs during Sri Lanka tour
COLOMBO: Australia will play an additional ODI during their Sri Lanka tour starting later this month for two Tests as part of the ICC World Test Championships, the hosts said Wednesday.
Both teams were originally due to play a one-off one day international at Hambantota but another match has been added to the schedule, with both to now be staged in Colombo.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said the two ODIs will be held on February 12 and 14 after the two Tests.
The Test series will pitch top-ranked Australia against sixth-ranked Sri Lanka.
The first Test will begin from January 29, while the second is scheduled to start on February 6. Both matches will be played at the Galle International Cricket stadium. The Australians last visited Sri Lanka for a two-match Test series in 2022, which was drawn.
