Haj packages data to be shared with FBR
ISLAMABAD: The data of Haj 2025 packages of above Rs3 million would be shared with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and other institutions.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the data of private Haj operators providing Haj packages of above Rs3 million and those getting packages would be shared with the FBR and other institutions. The ministry has allowed clusters of private Haj operators and their subordinate companies to start booking for Haj 2025.
The ministry spokesman on Friday said booking under the private Haj scheme would continue till January 31 as per packages mentioned on the ministry’s official website. The Haj packages under the private scheme range from Rs1.75 million to Rs2.15 million. The companies are bound to provide facilities to intending pilgrims as per the Service Provider Agreement (SPA). Approval of any package above Rs3 million would be required from the Haj Policy Formulation Committee and Haj organizers would provide complete details of additional facilities.
The faithful who want to perform Haj under the private Haj scheme have been advised to get verification of operators from the ministry’s website or ‘Pak Haj’ mobile app and make payments to them on their bank accounts. The applicants have also been advised to understand facilities provided as Haj package while making any decision.
