Salim congratulates Arif on election as POA chief
ISLAMABAD: Vice-President of Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) Salim Saifullah Khan congratulated Arif Saeed on his unopposed election as the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) president.
Salim Saifullah Khan wished Arif Saeed and Mohammad Khalid Mehmood (secretary POA) the best of luck. “ Arif Saeed’s election is a good omen for POA and Pakistan sports. I know him personally and even a couple of years back I suggested him to think in terms of running the election for the POA president. His and Khalid Mehmood’s election to the key POA offices are a good sign for Pakistan sport’s future,” Salim Saifullah said.
The former President Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) also congratulated all others including PTD President Aisamul Haq on winning the POA Associate secretary elections. He hoped that following Arif Saeed’s elections, all the stakeholders would now work wholeheartedly for the promotion of sports in the country.
