Boy guns down sister after altercation

LAHORE : A 17-year-old boy fatally shot at and killed his 24-year-old sister, a schoolteacher, following an argument in the Chuhng area.

The suspect, identified as Usman, fled the scene after the incident. According to police, the siblings, Zarka and Usman, engaged in a heated argument at their home, during which Usman opened fire on Zarka. She sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where she died. A case was registered under murder charges based on a complaint filed by the victim’s mother, Suraiya.

Factory worker dies after being trapped in machine

A worker lost his life after being trapped in a moulding machine at a plastic factory in the Shafiqabad area.

The incident occurred at a plastic factory near Malikpura Stop on Band Road. According to details, the worker was operating the moulding machine when the accident happened, leading to his untimely death. Upon receiving the report, Rescue 1122 officials arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and handed it over to the police. The police transferred the body to the mortuary.

Murder suspect arrested

Gujjarpura police have arrested a man accused of murdering his wife following a domestic dispute. The suspect, identified as Abdul Rehman alias Mani Shah, was arrested and handed over to the investigation wing. According to police officials, the incident occurred a few days ago when Abdul Rehman allegedly killed his 26-year-old wife, mother of five, during an argument. The suspect then fled the scene.
