Two missing children meet parents during Geo’s ‘Pak Ramazan’ programme
KARACHI: The live special broadcast of Geo ‘Pak Ramazan’ is becoming popular due to its uniqueness as host Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain helped in rejoining the two missing children with their parents during this programme on Wednesday.
Dr Amir invited two children, living at shelter homes, to the first ‘Pak Ramazan’ programme on Tuesday and on the second day in the programme, an emotional scene was witnessed when the parents met their lost children.
During programme an 82-year-old widow told Dr Liaqaut that his son got her sign on the documents of her late husband’s house and evicted her forcibly, adding she got injured her arm as her daughter-in-law and granddaughter forcibly pushed her out from that home.
While in another popular Geo’s programme ‘Inam Ghar’ on second day a lucky participant won the first car of the QMobile and besides that a number of prizes including motorcycles, jewellery, gold coins, laptops, cycles, mobile phones and electric appliances were also distributed among the audience.
‘Pak Ramazan’ has broken the records of popularity as soon as it takes on air. This programme has won the heart of people across the world. According to the impartial agencies, which fix ratings, the Geo entertainment programmes have got maximum rating points as compared to programmes of other channels.
Meanwhile, millions of rupees donations were collected on the second day donated from within and outside the country during the programme on the appeal of Dr Amir Liaquat for the deserving people in programme ‘Rah-e-Haq’.
