KARACHI: Several revenue and Police officers have been transferred from their postings here on Thursday. These transfers and postings have been made to bring about improvement in specific sectors, sources said.
Managing Director (MD) Solid Waste Management Board, Syed Imtiaz Shah, BPS grade 21 officer, has been transferred. In his place, Secretary Local Government Department Syed Khalid Haider Shah has been given the additional charge.
Similarly, Deputy Commissioner Kashmore-Kandhkot Ameer Fazal Awesi has been given an additional charge of DC Jacobabad. DC Malir Irfan Saleem Mirwani has been transferred and Samiullah Odho has taken over the charge.
Raja Tariq Chandio has been transferred and posted as DC Kiamari in place of Tahir Cheema who has been directed to report to the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD).
Abrar Ahmad Jaffar has been posted as DC East in place of Shahzad Fazal Abbasi who has been directed to report to SGA&CD. Secretary Land Utilization, BPS 19 officer, Zameer Ahmed Abbasi has also been transferred.
Besides, several police officers have also been transferred. They include SHO Inspector Ghulam Hussain Korai of PS Manghopir, West Karachi, SHO Basheer Ahmad Wadho of PS Mochko, District Keamari, SHO Inspector Naseer Tanoli of PS Boat Basin, District South, SHO Sub-Inspector Azam Rajpar of PS Clifton, District South, ASI Hadi Bux Baloch Incharge of Police Post Khuda ki Basti, District West.
