FAST Cables signs MoU with IBA, NED to promote sustainability
KARACHI: FAST Cables has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and the NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, to promote sustainable business practices, encourage academic excellence and recognise exceptional student achievements in sustainability and research.
The agreement was formalised during a ceremony where CEO of FAST Cables Kamal Mian signed the MoU alongside Executive Director of IBA Dr S Akbar Zaidi and Rector of NED University Syed Ghazanfar Hussain. The partnership aims to nurture future leaders, foster impactful research in sustainability and strengthen ties between industry and academia.
As part of the collaboration, FAST Cables introduced the FAST Sustainability Award and the FAST Excellence Award. These initiatives will honour outstanding contributions in academic research and sustainable practices, empowering students and paving the way for a more sustainable future.
