Declamation contest held
LAKKI MARWAT: The district administration and education department with the support of Boy Scouts Association held a declamation contest on the anti-corruption theme at Government High School No. 2, here on Sunday.
Students from government schools participated in the competition organized in connection with the anti-corruption week.
In their speeches, the students termed corruption detrimental for the country’s economic development and prosperity of the
people and stressed the need for promoting self-accountability and joint efforts to eliminate it from society.
In the declamation contest (Urdu category), Hamza Ali Abbas and Muhammad Jibran, students of Government Shaheed Muhammad Ghassan Khan Centennial Model High School got first and third positions respectively while Muhammad Asif of Government High School No. 2, Lakki stood second.
