Awareness lecture held
Islamabad: The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in collaboration with the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) organized a comprehensive road safety awareness lecture at IMCG(PG)F7/4, Margalla College Islamabad.
Senior Patrol Officers Younus Nawaz, Ms. Nabeela, Patrol Officers Ms. Asifa and Mr. Shams led the event, utilizing informative videos and slides to educate students on crucial road safety measures. The interactive session provided students with valuable insights into road safety, emphasising the importance of adhering to traffic laws, using pedestrian crossings, and the hazards of reckless driving. A lively question-and-answer session allowed students to seek clarifications on road safety issues.
The police officers distributed gifts to the students, serving as a tangible reinforcement of the lessons imparted. The event underscored the commitment to instill a culture of road safety awareness and responsible driving practices among the youth. The collaborative effort between the NHMP and FDE aims to promote safer commutes and minimize road accidents within the community.
