Syed Atta appointed ETPB chief
Additional charge is for a period of three months or till regular appointment
ISLAMABAD: Syed Atta-ur-Rehman, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs, has been assigned the additional charge of Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB).
The additional charge is for a period of three months or till regular appointment. Several cases were pending in the ETPB due to this vacant post.
Abdul Hameed Anwar, Joint Secretary, Asset Recovery Unit, Cabinet Division, has been transferred and posted as Financial Advisor, Pakistan Ordnance Factories Board, Wah Cantt. He has been appointed for a period of four years or till retirement.
Brigadier Syed Qasim Mahmood has been appointed as Chief of Staff, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), with the approval of prime minister.
The deputation period of Muhammad Mureed Rahimoon, Grade-20 officer of Secretariat Group, has been extended for two years.
The services of Sufi Abdul Hafeez Chachar, Deputy Director FIA, have been returned to the Anti-Corruption Establishment, Sindh Government.
The services of Director President’s Office and Grade-19 officer of Audit and Accounts Service Muhammad Waqas Khan have been returned to the Auditor General of Pakistan.
Adnan Hussain, Office Superintendent, Municipal Corporation Malir, Karachi, has been posted as Assistant Director Benazir Income Support Programme, Sindh Region on deputation.
Syed Dildar Hussain, Assistant Director (Legal) FIA, has been transferred and his services have been returned to the Police Department, Gilgit-Baltistan Government.
The deputation period of Wajid Hussain, Assistant Director FIA, has been extended for two years. He is an officer of NAB.
Umar Minhas, Deputy Director, Trade Dispute Resolution Organisation, has been transferred and posted as Section Officer, Ministry of Commerce, on deputation for three years.
Hafiz Muhammad Rohail, Deputy Director, Trade Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as Section Officer, Ministry of Commerce, on deputation.
Miss Zoha Shakir, Grade-18 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, awaiting appointment, has been granted one year study leave from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.
The leave of Javed Nabi, Grade-18 officer of PAS, has been cancelled and retained in Sindh Government.
