Man kills friend during argument

A man shot and killed his friend during an altercation at a house in Korangi No 3 on Tuesday.

After an argument broke out between the two, Shahzaib opened fire on 22-year-old Sufiyan, son of Javed, shooting him twice. Sufiyan died shortly after the incident.

The suspect, Shahzaib, who was said to be a newly recruited policeman, fled the scene. The victim's body was sent to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

According to police, Shahzaib was at his home with four to five neighborhood friends when the argument broke out, and all of them were reportedly drunk. The police have taken three friends into custody and are searching for Shahzaib. An FIR has been registered based on the victim's father's complaint.
