Haque Academy win third U16 Girls Inter School C’ship
KARACHI: The Haque Academy clinched the title of third U16 Girls Inter School Football Championship. In a nail-biting final, Haque Academy emerged victorious with a 2-1 against SMB Fatima Red at the KMC Sports Complex Maidaan.
In the final contest, both teams displayed exceptional skills. Eshal Zain and Fatima were recognized as the Best Goalkeepers for their outstanding performances. At the closing ceremony, the event organizers, Dr. Saadia Sheikh and Naila Sheikh, distributed trophies to the first four teams and individual awards to the best players.
The organisers highlighted the significance of promoting women’s football. The championship was organised by Diya Women Football Academy. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 10 teams representing various schools across Karachi, showcasing remarkable talent and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
