KP CM’s aide says Bushra Bibi conveys Imran’s message
Karim said MPAs are asked to bring 5,000 workers, while each MNA 10,000 workers to Islamabad on Nov 24
NOWSHERA: Adviser to Chief Minister on Industry Abdul Karim said on Sunday that Bushra Bibi had conveyed an important message from the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to the members of National and provincial assemblies of the Peshawar region.
Talking to reporters, Karim said that each MPA was asked to bring 5,000 workers, while each MNA 10,000 workers to Islamabad to register a protest on November 24. He said the procession would be headed by all MPAs, MNAs as well as the party president and general secretary.
Abdul Karim said that Imran Khan had directed that a large number of workers should take part in the protest to make the movement a success. “There will be no resistance. The processions from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will use three different routes, Motorway, GT Road and Khushal Garh Road, all heading to Islamabad,” he said, adding that the sit-in in Islamabad would continue until their demands were met.
He said their demands included immediate release of Imran Khan, return of the allegedly stolen mandate and supremacy of law and Constitution should be upheld. He said the 26th Constitutional Amendment was illegal, adding that the members of the provincial assembly and Senate under Form 47 cannot pass it. Abdul Karim said the decision on PTI’s reserved seats had not been made and also Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had not taken place. He said without a complete house, the constitutional amendment cannot be done.
