KARACHI: Atif Ikram Sheikh, president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), has been elected vice president of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce & Industry (CACCI) for the 2024-26 term at the 38th CACCI Conference held in Singapore.
Sheikh has also been appointed as head of the CACCI Budget Commission. CACCI is one of the world’s most influential trade alliances, representing 27 countries.
Sheikh announced that he has invited CACCI member countries to hold their conference in Pakistan in December 2025, an invitation that has been accepted. He noted that this event will be of international importance for Pakistan’s trade and economic growth.
