UET holds career training session
LAHORE:UET on Friday hosted Career Development Training to equip students for success in the job market.
The session, focusing on resume writing, communication skills, and personality development, was aimed to provide participants with the tools needed to thrive in today’s competitive professional landscape.
Prof Dr Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor UET, attended the event as the chief guest and shared valuable insights on interview techniques and the importance of self-presentation in the job market.
During his address, Prof. Dr. Munir emphasized the importance of building a strong personal brand and offered practical strategies for making a lasting impression in job interviews. “The ability to present yourself effectively is key to standing out in today’s competitive environment,” said Prof Dr Shahid Munir.
“It is not just about your qualifications, but how you present your skills, your attitude, and your unique value to potential employers.” he added. The training session was conducted by Sohail Siddiqui, a career development specialist, who led the students through a series of interactive exercises aimed at crafting impactful resumes, enhancing communication skills, and refining their overall professional presence.
