ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said the myth of the so-called good governance and Naya Pakistan being brandished by some has been totally exposed.

“It has created political space for the PPP to exploit and utilise by giving an alternate work plan about how to address the peoples’ problems,” he said, while talking to a delegation of PPP leaders from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including former Federal Ministers Anwar Saifullah Khan and Najmuddin Khan and former provincial president of the party Zahir Shah who called on him at Zardari House Islamabad on Wednesday evening.

During the meeting the overall political situation in the province was also discussed. Talking with the provincial party leaders Bilawal Bhutto asked them to reach out to the party workers and people in the province with a view to mobilising the people.

“It is of critical importance that our party office-bearers and leaders stand by the people and partake in their joys and sorrows in these difficulttimes when the government has not been able to redress their grievances,” he said.

Later, Senator Rehman Malik also called on the PPP chairman and apprised him of the organisation matters of the overseas chapters of the party. Bilawal said that overseas wings were the arms and force multipliers of the party and directed Rehman Malik to keep him abreast of their issues.
