DIR: Deputy Commissioner Upper Dir Naveed Akbar inaugurated the district’s computerised land and criminal record centre here on Wednesday.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance and Planning Omar bin Riaz, Assistant Commissioner Headquarters Dir Dr Yasser Ali Shah, Assistant Commissioner Revenue New Dr Ishfaq Ahmed and other officials.
The deputy commissioner said that the district protection office had been equipped with modern facilities, including a computerised land and criminal record centre. “The record of Upper Dir’s protection office has been secured. Previously, all records were at risk of damage due to being scattered on the floor, but now they are being computerized,” he added.
